Data Visualization of Label Releases

So I sucked down Beatport’s Progressive House database today. Some stats:

• 28MB in XML format
• 1300 labels
• 6848 artists and remixers
• 16236 tracks

Then I plugged it into Many Eyes, IBM’s new data visualization service, and this is what I got:

Check it out, its prooty hot. Tip: This graph is sorted by label, then artist. You can switch the order to artist, then label by dragging the order of the variables right above the graph where it says “Treemap Organization”.
